Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) will provide additional sensor systems and support services for the Apache attack helicopters of the U.S., U.K. and Saudi Arabia under a $288.3 million domestic and foreign military sales contract modification.
The Bethesda, Md.-based firm will supplement Modernized Target Acquisition Designation Sight/Pilot Night Vision Sensors and offer subcomponent production and technical services, the Defense Department said Friday.
Lockheed will conduct its work in Orlando, Fla., through Dec. 31, 2021.
The extended order follows an initial $337 million contract that Lockheed received in October 2017 for M-TADS/PNVS technologies, which are intended to support Apache crews during long-range, precision engagement and pilotage operations.
M-TADS/PNVS orders fall under a broader $2 billion indefinite-delivery/indefinite quantity contract from the U.S. Army.
