A Raytheon Technologies (NYSE: RTN) and Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) joint venture will manufacture man-portable, anti-tank guided munitions for the U.S. Army as part of a $311.2 million contract modification.
The full-rate Javelin production award includes foreign military sales to Jordan and Lithuania, the Department of Defense said Tuesday.
Contract work will take place in Tucson, Arizona, through Nov. 30, 2026.
The Army used its service procurement appropriations and FMS funds to cover the full obligated amount.
According to Raytheon, the Javelin weapon system provides domestic and international defense customers a “fire-and-forget” missile technology to reach various targets such as bunkers, armored vehicles and caves.
