Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) has received a four-year, $184.6M contract modification to establish a capability for repairing systems of lot 11 F-35 low-rate initial production units for U.S. military and non-Department of Defense entities.
Work covers organic depot-level repair support for hydraulic power generation systems, gun system control units, thermal management technologies, flight displays, fuel systems, radars and other fighter aircraft components, the Pentagon said Wednesday.
The modification runs through March 2023 and is part of a nonannualized sustainment contract that involves the U.S. Navy, Air Force and Marine Corps.
Thirty-one percent of contract work will occur in Fort Worth, Texas, and the rest at various U.S. and U.K. locations.
Naval Air Systems Command will obligate the full amount of the award from fiscal 2020 Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps and non-DoD funds at the time of award.
