Who Is Dan Tenney?
Tenney is a senior executive who served as VP of strategy and business development for Lockheed’s Rotary and Mission Systems, or RMS, and Space business segments. In both roles, he developed and executed growth strategies that aligned the company’s capabilities with customer needs. He helped drive investments, acquisitions and new market development, while sustaining program performance.
What Was Tenney’s Career Before Lockheed Martin?
Before joining Lockheed Martin, he served as executive vice chancellor and chief financial officer at the University of North Texas System for nearly three years. He spent more than 27 years at NASA, where he served as associate administrator of mission support, responsible for the agency’s operations. He also served as CFO of NASA Langley Research Center and director of the management and technical support office at the Engineering and Safety Center. His early NASA career included stints as senior technical expert, chief strategist and finance manager.
