Lockheed Martin’s (NYSE: LMT) rotary and mission systems business has secured a potential seven-year, $1.05 billion contract to help the U.S. Navy integrate a combat management system across the Surface Force.
The defense contractor will provide systems engineering and software integration services for the Integrated Combat System supporting the Navy and Coast Guard, the Department of Defense said Thursday.
The contract has a one-year base period valued at $23.3 million and six option years.
Work will occur in Alabama, California New Jersey, Maryland, Rhode Island and Virginia through September 2030, if all options are exercised.
