HELLFIRE, Joint-Air-to-Ground Missile Production Year 4
The Department of Defense said Wednesday the contract action represents the fourth production year for Joint-Air-to-Ground Missiles, or JAGM, and HELLFIRE missiles and brings the contract’s cumulative face value to approximately $1.49 billion.
Lockheed will perform work in Ocala, Florida, through the end of September 2028.
Army Contracting Command will obligate the full contract amount using the Army’s missile procurement funds for fiscal year 2025.
In April 2024, the company received a $483 million follow-on contract to build JAGM and HELLFIRE missiles for the U.S. Army, U.S. Navy and the governments of the Czech Republic, France and Poland. The contract action marks the third program year award for missile production.
