In this role, Drews will oversee a portfolio of organizations developing GSA flight and ground systems for intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance and overhead persistent infrared missions and all-domain nuclear command, control and communications capabilities.
According to his profile on the professional networking platform, he will also serve as Lockheed’s corporate executive for the NC3 system of systems.
Drews most recently served as chief engineer at Lockheed and led innovation strategies and technical excellence for about 12,000 engineers in support of space, missile and ground system mission areas.
Prior to Lockheed, he held project management and aerospace engineering positions at Octant Technologies, Integrated Systems and Bionetics.
