Michele Evans, executive vice president of the aeronautics segment at Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT), has joined the board of directors of liquefied natural gas supplier Cheniere Energy (NYSE: LNG).
Chenier said Tuesday the 32-year aerospace and defense industry veteran will serve on the board’s audit and governance and nominating committees.
Evas has led Lockheed’s aeronautics business in EVP role since Orlando Carvalho retired from the Bethesda, Md.-based company in October after a nearly 40-year career.
I look forward to applying my skills and experience to help Cheniere capitalize on its competitive advantages and deliver on its strategy, she said.
