Martin Faga, former director of the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO), has been appointed to the board of directors of Los Angeles-based space technology and services provider LinQuest.
LinQuest said Tuesday that Faga brings to the board an extensive government and industry experience, having held leadership positions at the U.S. Air Force and Mitre.
He served as president and CEO of Mitre from May 2000 until his retirement in June 2006. Before taking the helm at the nonprofit corporation, he led the organization’s Center for Integrated Intelligence Systems.
His public sector career also included time as assistant secretary for space at the Air Force and as staff member on the House Intelligence Committee.
“I am excited to join their team and help guide LinQuest in the definition and implementation of its strategic growth plans,” Faga said.
LinQuest — which has regional headquarters in Colorado and Washington, D.C. area — helps government customers develop, test and maintain systems intended for space, ground and air missions.
