Leonardo DRS has won a potential $808M contract from the Defense Logistics Agency Land to supply U.S. military branches with a set of electronic devices that can link combat ground vehicles with command, control, communications, computer, combat, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance systems.
The company said Monday it will also help federal civilian customers address interconnection requirements through the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract.
Work also covers the provision of installation kits, wiring harnesses, cable assemblies, connectors and associated services.
DRS designed its electronic products to connect C5ISR, tactical computing, network, radio and weapon systems of military vehicles.
Bill Guyan, senior vice president and general manager of Leonardo DRS’ land electronics business, said the company uses a manufacturing center of excellence to deliver products to customers on schedule.
