Leidos (NYSE: LDOS) has received a potential five-year, $85.5M contract to support adaptive maintenance of nine applications for the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency.
The company said Thursday it will sustain legacy applications NGA analysts use to map imagery, manage structured observations and analyze data under the restructured follow-on Sustainment for Analysis Services contract.
“We have a long history supporting the NGA and have a deep understanding of their unique mission needs within the intelligence community,” said Vicki Schmanske, president of Leidos’ intelligence group.
Schmanske added the company will continue to offer apps designed to help decisionmakers address national security threats.
According to Leidos, it developed four of the nine SAS apps to support the agency’s structured observation management and imagery exploitation processes.
The company also built a separate platform for NGA through the use of agile software development methods and tools.
