Leidos (NYSE: LDOS) has secured a potential five-year, $84 million task order to help the U.S. Navy operate and maintain undersea warfare platforms.
The company said Thursday it will assign personnel to perform operations and maintenance support work aboard the branch’s Tactical Auxiliary General Ocean Surveillance ships.
A Leidos field support team will also help the service engineer the Surveillance Towed Array Sensor System and the Integrated Undersea Surveillance System.
Naval Information Warfare Systems Command awarded the task order under the Seaport Next Generation contract vehicle.
The award has a one-year base period, followed by four one-year options, and work will take place in Virginia and Japan.
