Leidos (NYSE: LDOS) has secured a potential five-year, $210 million contract from the U.S. Army to develop content for simulated training systems.
The company said Monday it will provide Synthetic Environment Core databases that can support the service branch’s training, simulation and mission command systems.
SE Core contains three-dimensional and two-dimensional terrain graphics and information about buildings, bridges, roads, maps and moving vehicles.
The Army’s Program Executive Office for Simulation, Training and Instrumentation will oversee contract work that will take place at the company’s Orlando facility.
The single-award, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract has a one-year base period and four one-year options.
