Leidos (NYSE: LDOS) has received a potential five-year, $428M task order to deliver aircraft intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance services to the U.S. Army.
The company said Monday the cost-plus-fixed-fee task order has a one-year base term and four option years and includes sustainment, operations, program management, engineering and cybersecurity support services for the Army’s product director, airborne reconnaissance low.
PD ARL needs support for ARL-Multifunction, ARL-Enhanced, Saturn Arch and other low-profile intelligence aircraft platforms. The office develops, integrates and deploys integrated sensors across a range of intelligence capabilities such as synthetic aperture radar, electro-optical/infrared and geospatial intelligence.
“The Army continues to turn to Leidos for airborne reconnaissance support that helps warfighters remain aware of their operational environments for a range of critical missions,” said Gerry Fasano, president of Leidos™ defense group.
Fasano added the task order validates the company™s industry partnerships and infrastructure investments in airborne platforms operation.
