L3 Technologies (NYSE: LLL) has secured a potential $120M contract to help the U.S. Air Force train aircrews of the B-2 Spirit bomber fleet.
The company said Tuesday it will continue to support the B-2 Aircrew Training System for the military service to hone the skills of B-2 pilots and maintenance and weapons-loading personnel.
Christopher Kubasik, chairman, president and CEO of L3, said the company aims to deliver technology platforms that align with the current demand for pilots and crewmembers who support national security missions.
œWe are honored to continue our legacy of providing the Air Force with world-class training and simulation in support of mission readiness, added Kubasik, a 2019 Wash100 winner.
L3 has been the original equipment manufacturer of the B-2 training system since 1984 and provides engineering support through a company-operated facility at Whiteman AF Base in Missouri.
