The Communications Capacity Services II contract covers the provision of routers, monitoring equipment, appliances, switches, monitoring and reporting software and supporting devices for the Defense Department and its partners, DoD said Thursday.
Reston, Virginia-based Knight Point has provided hardware and software communication support to DISA since 2011 through a predecessor award.
DISA awarded the CSC II indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract one and a half years after the agency issued a request for proposals notice on FedBizOpps.
Work will primarily occur at 12 U.S. locations with incidental performance outside the country.
The recompete contract has a five-year base period that will run through Feb. 15, 2023, followed by five one-year options.
