Kim Lynch, executive vice president of government defense and intelligence at Oracle, has accepted the 2025 Wash100 Award for being a champion for innovation and for providing agencies with cloud and artificial intelligence capabilities that meet mission-critical needs.
Executive Mosaic CEO Jim Garrettson personally congratulated Lynch for her second Wash100 Award win during a recent meeting.
Founded by Garrettson in 2014, the Wash100 Award is conferred annually to government and government contracting leaders. Awardees are selected through a competitive process that assesses notable accomplishments and potential to become transformative forces for the govcon industry.
“In her second year as EVP at Oracle, Kim has continued to stabilize and grow key agency relationships through personal involvement and her demonstration of leadership by example,” commented Garrettson on Lynch’s win.
“A well-earned Wash100 win for a leader making real change happen and demonstrate an ability to manage a complex set of contracts across a wide array of agencies,” he added.
Oracle Supports US Army Organization
Under Lynch, Oracle maintained its position as the Army’s modernization partner. In October, the technology company announced that the military service had migrated its online human resources platform, Integrated Personnel and Pay System-Army, to its U.S. Defense Cloud. The move strengthens the security of sensitive military data and delivers cloud computing benefits to Army personnel.
Oracle Advanced Cloud, AI
Oracle also continues to push cloud and AI technology forward through billion-dollar investments and major industry partnerships.
In 2024, the technology services announced allocations of over $1 billion and $1.2 billion to expand cloud and AI operations in Spain and Malaysia, respectively. The fundings support digital migrations and to meet the growing demand for advanced cloud computing and AI capabilities around the world.
Oracle is also working with cloud operators Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud and Microsoft Azure to accelerate modernization across industries globally.
