The Falls Church, Virginia-based company said Tuesday Keffer intends to retire on Feb. 21 to spend more time with his family.
Crews, currently vice president of business management and CFO for Northrop’s space systems sector, will assume the role of VP for corporate finance on July 1 and work with Keffer to facilitate a seamless transition.
Crews has held leadership positions since joining the aerospace and defense contractor in 2004, including CFO for mission systems and director of financial planning and analysis within the corporate headquarters.
Northrop’s board named Roshan Roeder, corporate VP and president of defense systems business, to succeed Mark Caylor as corporate VP and president of mission systems business, effective July 1.
Caylor announced his plans to retire on July 26.
Roeder, a 22-year Northrop veteran, previously served as VP and general manager of the airborne multifunction sensors division within the company’s mission systems sector.
Ben Davies, corporate VP and GM of Northrop’s strategic deterrent systems division within the space systems segment, will succeed Roeder as head of defense systems.
The company said it will realign the SDS division, which covers the Sentinel program, into its defense systems segment on July 1.
Davies has been with Northrop for 26 years and has held various leadership positions, including GM for networked information solutions division within the mission systems segment, B-2 program manager and sector chief information officer.
