Kekolu Contracting has won a potential five-year, $200 million contract from the U.S. Air Force to perform construction work on real property at Eglin Air Force Base and related sites in Florida.
The Department of Defense said Monday the Air Force Test Center at Eglin AFB launched a competitive acquisition process and received six offers for the single-award, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract.
The firm-fixed-price IDIQ contract covers maintenance, alteration, repair, restoration and moderation, renovation and non-complex minor construction efforts.
Work will occur at Eglin AFB in Florida through July 7, 2029.
The service branch is obligating $2,000 in operation and maintenance funds for fiscal year 2024.
In September, the Air Force released a solicitation for the Simplified Acquisition of Base Engineer Requirements contract, which will support the 96th Civil Engineer Group activity headquarters at Eglin AFB.
The vendor will be required to provide all equipment, materials and personnel needed to design, manage and execute a wide range of tasks, including road repair, roofing, interior electrical, plumbing, painting, welding, demolition, excavation and concrete masonry.
