A KBR(NYSE: KBR) business unit has landed a potential eight-year, $500M contract for personal services in support of the U.S. Special Operations Command’s effort to sustain the welfare of USSOCOM warfighters and their families.
KBRwyle will support the Preservation of the Force and Family Program across 26 locations within and outside continental U.S., the Defense Departmentsaid Tuesday.
The business will perform base work over a five-year period and continue for three years if the given option is exercised.
The command sourced the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract via a competitive process and received eight responses.
The program works to support the personal welfare of special force servicemen in human, psychological, spiritual and social performance areas.
