Karoom Brown
Karoom Brown, chief global strategy, products and growth officer at OptumServe, has been promoted to the CEO position at Optum’s federal health information technology services subsidiary, G2Xchange Health reported Thursday.
He joined the company in October 2018 and has led efforts to grow its technology offerings and identify business opportunities within the federal market.
The 18-year industry veteran previously led business development and strategy at Leidos (NYSE: LDOS) federal health business as senior vice president, Before that, he was the general manager of Lockheed Martins (NYSE: LMT) health and life sciences businesses.
Brown also held leadership roles within the health IT units at L3 Technologies (NYSE: LLL) and Unisys (NYSE: UIS).
