Karen Quimby, senior director of supply chain and global procurement at BAE Systems Inc. since July 2022, has assumed a new role as vice president of global supply chain within the Falls Church, Virginia-based contractor’s platforms and services business sector.
Quimby announced her new position in a LinkedIn post published Sunday and her responsibilities involve supporting the sector’s six businesses that operate in the U.S., U.K. and Sweden.
Prior to BAE, she held a two-year stint as senior director of supply chain at Ball Aerospace.
Her industry experience also includes time as a senior director of integrated mission systems supply chain at L3Harris Technologies (NYSE: LHX), director of global training solutions mission area supply chain at the legacy Raytheon company and information technology project manager at Keane.
Earlier in her career, Quimby worked as supervisory procuring contracts officer for the U.S. Air Force’s standard systems group.
