The Executive Mosaic GovCon Index closed up to 94.885 a gain of 0.760 percent. 28 of the 30 stocks that make up the Index where in the positive. ManTech international lead the GovCon Index posting a 5 percent gain as the company was upgraded by Loop Capital Markets.After sharp drops yesterday the major indices closed mixed on the day with the S&P500 and DJIA advancing, while the NASDAQ declined further. Increases in the industrial and consumer discretionary sectors bolstered markets as trading volumes were low.
WTI crude oil closed up sharply for the seventh consecutive day, to settle at $46.19 per barrel a positive 2.80 percent as U.S. gasoline stockpiles continue to decline.
