Julie Gravallese
Julie Gravallese, formerly chief human resources officer of Mitre, has been named vice president of programs and technology integration at the McLean, Virginia-based nonprofit corporation.
She will oversee business approaches and operations for technical workforce and programs, including those at Mitre-operated facilities and laboratories, the company said Monday.
Mitre President and CEO Jason Providakes, a 2018 Wash100 recipient, said Gravallese’s knowledge and understanding of the organization’s business and sponsors will help further its mission to develop security products and services.
Gravallese led Mitre’s human resources department and strategic priorities over the past three years as CHRO, as well as played a key role in executive transition efforts.
She also held various director-level roles since she joined the company in 1996, including leadership of its Open Systems Center, Information Technology Center and the Geospatial Intelligence and Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Program Division.
