Josh Wilson, formerly head of advanced analytics at LMI, has been named vice president of the newly formed digital and analytic solutions business unit.
He will oversee a unit that was created through the combination of LMI's digital services and advanced analytics practices to accelerate the delivery of services in support of federal agencies’ tech transformation efforts, the company said Thursday. The new business encompasses digital platforms, advanced analytics, data and enterprise operations and artificial intelligence.
Wilson is a former U.S. Army officer who previously worked at Deloitte’s public sector practice, where he focused on strategic planning engagements and analytics-driven business model transformation.
Karen Britton, formerly VP of digital services, has been appointed chief digital officer and VP of marketing and communications at LMI. She will lead the company’s external communications initiatives with a focus on building up its digital presence.
Britton served in the executive office of the president from 2009 through 2014 as deputy chief information officer and CIO. Her career in the U.S. Navy included time as deputy command information officer of Naval Sea Systems Command and as a general engineer with the submarine maintenance engineering, planning and procurement activity at Portsmouth Naval Shipyard.
