In this capacity, Ofenloch will help accelerate AE Shoals’ occupancy, drive its campus expansion efforts and oversee the aerospace and defense facility’s growth initiatives, AEI said Thursday.
Ofenloch’s 30-year industry career includes time as president and CEO of Astro Telecommunications and RANGER Wireless Solutions, executive finance consultant at FTI Consulting, now part of CXO, and vice president of finance and chief financial officer at Nanovation Technologies and Authorgenics.
“We are excited to leverage John’s decades of experience and regional expertise to accelerate our growth as we prepare to welcome our first tenants in the coming months,” said Chris Emerson, senior partner at AEl.
AEI’s affiliate Rocket Shoals acquired the industrial facility from Retirement Systems of Alabama in January, aiming to build a manufacturing center of excellence focused on the aerospace, defense, and industrial services sectors.
In addition to Ofenloch, AEI appointed Mike Lanier as VP of development and Nick Willis as facility manager.
