John Newman Named Parasoft SVP for Aerospace, Government Division

John Newman, former senior account executive of federal financials at Amazon Web Services, has joined Parasoft as senior vice president of the software testing automation company’s aerospace and government solutions division.

He will oversee efforts to build strategic partnerships to help customers adopt artificial intelligence-based tools for testing software platforms, Parasoft said Tuesday.

Newman joins the Monrovia, California-headquartered company after working at AWS for more than two years.

Previously, he held federal government sales positions at Google, Micro Focus and NetIQ.

“John brings a wealth of experience as a federal sales leader, having cultivated strong relationships with government entities and the partner community throughout his career,” said Elizabeth Kolawa, CEO at Parasoft.
