Jim Cook, formerly vice president and director of Mitre‘s Center for Enterprise Modernization, has been named as VP for strategic engagements and partnerships.
He will be responsible for the company’s efforts to collaborate with government agencies, private businesses and congressional stakeholders, as well as promote opportunities for impact within the public sector, Mitre said Wednesday.
Cook holds more than three decades of experience in the areas of consultancy, systems integration and program and organizational change management.
In his previous role, he oversaw enterprise modernization support for civilian government agencies through CEM.
The 14-year company veteran previously worked as executive director for public sector revenue and finance at the federally funded research and development center for four years.
