Jill Albertelli, formerly the senior vice president of transformation and strategy at Raytheon Technologies’ (NYSE: RTX) Pratt & Whitney business, has been named president of the subsidiary’s military engines organization.
She succeeds Matthew Bromberg, who has held the role since 2017 and led F135 engine program implementation efforts for the Department of Defense’s Joint Program Office, Pratt & Whitney said Monday.
Christopher Calio, president of Pratt & Whitney, said Albertelli brings more than three decades of technical and leadership experience to the division that has technology offerings designed to power military aircraft such as the F-35 and KC-46.
Albertelli oversaw the development of Pratt & Whitney’s turbine airfoil production facility in Asheville, North Carolina, which is scheduled to open in 2022.
