Jenn Azzolina, Michael Daly: Cloudera, Raytheon Aim to Help Agencies Secure Data With Combined Tech Platform

Jenn Azzolina of Cloudera (NYSE: CLDR) and Michael Daly of Raytheon Technologies (NYSE: RTX) said the two companies have teamed up to develop a technology platform to help government agencies glean insights from large volumes of data while ensuring data security using plug-and-play analytics and zero trust approach.

Azzolina and Daly wrote that the offering combines Cloudera’s open architecture-based analytics tool with the REDPro platform from Raytheon’s intelligence and space business.

Cloudera’s plug-and-play architecture can be updated in real time as organizations identify new threats, while Raytheon’s REDPro is a zero trust-based command and control infrastructure.

Daly and Azzolina discussed how Raytheon and Cloudera’s platform could help information technology teams at agencies secure endpoint devices, harness the power of data and apply multilevel zero trust-based access controls to data.

“This comprehensive, highly scalable, full-spectrum data management and security platform can handle virtually any type and volume of data while delivering real-time, actionable intelligence,” they added.

Azzolina is senior director of global alliances at Cloudera. Daly is chief technology officer of cybersecurity and special missions and a principal engineering fellow at Raytheon Intelligence and Space.
