Jeff Shockey
Jeff Shockey, formerly vice president of federal and international affairs at Boeing (NYSE: BA), has been appointed VP of global sales and marketing at the company’s defense, space and security segment.
He succeeds Tom Bell, who left the Boeing after more than two years leading the segment’s sales and marketing efforts worldwide, the company said Tuesday.
BDS President and CEO Leanne Caret, a 2018 Wash100 recipient, said Shockey’s understanding of the company’s strategy, customers and people will further its efforts to compete and grow in the market.
Shockey joined the Chicago-based aerospace and defense contractor in 2016 after he previously served as a staff director on the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence and minority staff director on the House Appropriations Committee.
He also held a managing partner role at Washington, D.C.-based government relations firm Shockey Scofield Solutions.
