Jeff Redman, formerly director of Citizant‘s civilian business unit, has been appointed vice president of operations at the Chantilly, Virginia-based government information technology services provider.
Redman has three decades of IT program experience and will oversee portfolio alignment, growth and performance in his new position, the company said Thursday.
He joined Citizant in August 2011 and oversaw the company’s modernization work at the Internal Revenue Service.
Between 2006 and 2011, Redman led seven IRS projects at Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) in his role as senior operations and program manager.
“His big-picture thinking and his dedication to Citizant’s employees and customers have contributed significantly to our growth at the U.S. Air Force, U.S. Space Force, Internal Revenue Service and other federal financial regulatory agencies,” David Romola, chief operating officer and president of Citizant, said of Redman.
