Axonius Federal Systems has appointed Jared Vichengrad as senior vice president and general manager. The Reston, Virginia-based company said Monday that Vichengrad will lead its strategy, execution and growth across the U.S. federal market.
He will report directly to the AFS board of directors.
Who Is Jared Vichengrad?
Vichengrad joins AFS from Check Point Software Technologies, where he served as head of public sector for the Americas and oversaw federal and state, local and education sales strategy.
Before Check Point Software, he area vice president for the public sector in North America at cybersecurity company Semperis.
He also held leadership roles at Rubrik, Veritas Technologies and Lexmark International earlier in his career.
“The federal government requires partners who can move faster than the adversaries they face,” Robert Skinner, AFS board chairman and a three-time Wash100 winner, said. “Jared’s arrival marks the next phase of maturity for AFS. We have the technology to solve the asset management challenge and drive operational action, and now, under Jared’s leadership, we have a leader that brings the kind of operational rigor needed to scale that capability to every corner of the civilian, intelligence, and defense sectors.”
Vichengrad holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting and marketing from the University of Connecticut School of Business.
