James Wallace, formerly executive director and general counsel at an RTX (NYSE: RTX) unit, has been named chief legal officer and general counsel at Forcepoint Global Governments and Critical Infrastructure, now part of TPG (Nasdaq: TPG), according to a LinkedIn post.
He will oversee Forcepoint G2CI’s overall legal, governance and compliance functions.
“I look forward to helping guide the company into the future as a comprehensive, next-generation cybersecurity provider addressing the critical needs of the US Government and our other customers,” Wallace wrote.
Before joining Forcepoint G2CI, Wallace held roles of increasing responsibility during his almost 10 years of stay at RTX and its previous brand, most recently as executive director and general counsel for the strategic missile defense strategic business unit.
He previously served as deputy general counsel and chief inclusion and diversity officer at Exelis, senior counsel for mergers and acquisitions at ITT Corporation (NYSE: ITT) and M&A associate at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett.
