The executive, who has more than two decades of experience in government, aerospace and defense landscape, announced his promotion in a LinkedIn post published Thursday.
James Potter’s Career Highlights
Before joining V2X in 2023, Potter worked as director of program management at IAP Worldwide Services, a provider of logistics, facilities management and professional and technical services. He was responsible for managing all P&L and aviation supply activities, according to his profile.
Most notably, Potter spent nearly a decade at DynCorp International, which was acquired by Amentum in 2020. His roles there included senior sourcing manager, senior supply chain manager and T-6 COMBS program director.
He said in his profile, “[I am] an expert at executing strategic sourcing and acquisition strategies along with implementing supply chain best practices to significantly reduce costs, enhance performance, all while continuing focus on risk minimization.”
The V2X vice president served in the U.S. Air Force for over 20 years before transitioning to the industry.
