Claudia Jaramillo, executive vice president of strategy and corporate development at Jacobs (NYSE: J), has been chosen to assume the role of EVP and chief financial officer effective Aug. 14.
The company said Thursday she will succeed outgoing CFO Kevin Berryman, who will stay on as adviser to CEO Bob Pragada.
Jaramillo, who was appointed to her current role in 2022, has nearly 25 years of management experience and previously spent two decades at energy technology firm Schlumberger, where she started out as an internal auditor and eventually became vice president and group treasurer.
She served on the board of directors at Arabian Drilling from March to June 2022, and is currently a member of the board at Generation USA.
“Claudia’s record of leadership and operational execution ideally positions her to serve as Jacobs’ next CFO and further advance our ‘Boldly Moving Forward’ strategy,” Pragada commented.
