What Is the Scope of the AFCEC Construction Services Contract?
The Department of War said Thursday the firm-fixed-price, multiple-award contract provides for design-build and design-bid-build construction services in support of long-term civil engineering and construction requirements worldwide. The scope of work includes maintenance, repair, restoration, modernization, minor construction, military construction, other procurement construction and demolition services.
The Brea, California-based company will perform contract work at various global locations, with the project expected to run through July 6, 2035.
How Was the Contract Awarded?
The contract was awarded following a competitive acquisition process that received 33 offers. The 772nd Enterprise Sourcing Squadron at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, Texas, serving as the contracting activity, will allocate $3,000 from fiscal 2026 operations and maintenance funds at the time of award.
