IMT Defense has received a potential five-year, $391 million contract from the U.S. Army to produce, inspect, package and supply metal parts assemblies for 155mm M795 artillery projectiles.
The Army Corps of Engineers in Newark, New Jersey, is the contracting activity and received one offer for the firm-fixed-price contract, the Department of Defense said Tuesday.
Work is expected to conclude on Nov. 22, 2027. The service will obligate funds and determine work locations upon award of each task order.
IMT provides metal parts for medium to large caliber projectile bodies. The company also supplies suspensions, drive shafts and drive and track components for U.S. and Canadian armored vehicles, including Stryker, Bradley and Abrams tanks.
