ICF (Nasdaq: ICFI) has received a five-year, $69 million task order from the U.S. Agency for International Development to collect data from population-based surveys in multiple countries.
The global consulting company said Wednesday that it will utilize information-gathering, analysis and monitoring tools to help USAID track countries’ performances in addressing poverty, hunger and malnutrition.
Specifically, the agency will use the global survey data in efforts to review U.S. government-led programs such as the Multisectoral Nutrition Strategy, Global Water Strategy and the Feed the Future Global Food Security Strategy.
“We are proud to build on our long-standing work to help USAID strengthen and improve its data collection methods and share evidence of the impact of its programs,” said Mark Lee, executive vice president and public sector lead at ICF.
The Fairfax, Virginia-based company has supported USAID’s Demographic and Health Surveys Program over the past 37 years.
ICF noted that the task order falls under the General Services Administration’s One Acquisition Solution for Integrated Services contract.
