ICF International (Nasdaq: ICFI) has received a potential $60 million task order to help a National Institutes of Health organization manage scientific data and evaluate research publications relevant to the agency’s National Toxicology Program.
The company will develop literature-based assessments for various sources of public health concern, examine the effects of chemical exposure to human health, extract scientific information and publish reports and studies for the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences, ICF said Monday.
The contract contains a one base year, nine one-year options and one six-month option.
The outcomes of this work will go a long way in helping regulatory agencies and other stakeholders make informed decisions around chemical safety and implement measures designed to protect public health, said Jennifer Welham, a senior vice president at ICF International.
