IBM to Continue Army ERP System Support Under $146M Contract Modification

IBM (NYSE: IBM) has secured a one-year, $145.8M contract modification to help the U.S. Army maintain an enterprise resource planning system used to manage the service branch’s financial functions and assets.

The company will continue to support the Army’s General Fund Enterprise Business System through Jan. 15, 2021, the Department of Defense said Friday.

GFEBS is a web-based platform that works to process financial and procurement data across the Army enterprise and helps military users share data.

The military service obligated $8.9M at the time of award of the modification.
