Siemens Government Technologies has appointed Honishka Adish to lead its national security business, bringing in an experienced executive with a background in managing large federal contract portfolios and supporting intelligence operations.
The Arlington, Virginia-based company said Adish will serve as vice president of national security solutions, reporting directly to President and CEO John Ustica.
Ustica said the sensitive nature of national security missions requires leaders who understand the evolving needs of intelligence customers. The four-time Wash100 Award winner added that Adish’s operational insight and established customer relationships position him to advance the business and strengthen its support for government customers.
Who Is Honishka Adish?
Adish brings approximately two decades of experience in the intelligence and national security sectors, with a career spanning federal contracting, business development and operational intelligence support.
Before joining SGT, Adish served as acting chief growth officer for the space sectors at Peraton. He also held strategic campaigns and capture leadership roles. Previously, he was senior director of growth for all-domain operations at HII Mission Technologies, where he managed the company’s One Acquisition Solution for Integrated Services Plus and Solutions for Intelligence Analysis 3 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contracts and oversaw a portfolio of opportunities valued at more than $4 billion. He also directed business development activities involving the Department of War, combatant commands, military services and the intelligence community.
Adish spent more than 10 years at Booz Allen Hamilton, serving in strategic growth and intelligence leadership positions. During that period, he helped develop and capture federal contract opportunities, including the $419 million RAPTOR opportunity. As program manager of the Afghanistan-Pakistan Task Force, he led a 50-member team of intelligence analysts, mission managers and other personnel supporting U.S. operations in Afghanistan.
His other assignments included serving as functional integration lead for the Defense Intelligence Agency’s Directorate of Analysis, where he coordinated intelligence activities across five integrated intelligence centers.
Earlier in his career, Adish worked at Chenega, where he supported intelligence missions in Afghanistan. He also supported cyber intelligence analysis and growth efforts at Northrop Grumman and served as an adviser to Acclaim Technical Services and CACI International.
What Will Adish Oversee at Siemens Government Technologies?
At SGT, Adish will direct programmatic development and execution involving technologies intended to address intelligence customers’ requirements for analysis, data visualization and data assimilation across classification levels.
The company’s technology portfolio includes industrial automation, software simulation and energy resilience capabilities that it intends to tailor to national security missions.
“I look forward to working closely with Honishka as we accelerate our service and support to this vital community of professionals across government,” Ustica said.
