Honeywell International (NYSE: HON) has received a potential six-year, $85.7M contract to provide engineering services for the U.S. Air Force™s C-5 military transport planes.
The Department of Defense said Tuesday the company will support aircraft hardware and software as part of the sole-source contract.
USAF will obligate $9.3M in fiscal 2019 operations and maintenance and transportation working capital funds at the time of award.
Honeywell’s aerospace business will perform services in Georgia, Arizona, Washington, New Mexico and Puerto Rico. Work is scheduled to conclude by Jan. 30, 2025.
