A U.S. subsidiary ofHitachi has won a potential 10-year, $162.8 million contract from the Defense Logistics Agency to provide radiology equipment, accessories and training support services to U.S. military and federal civilian agencies.
The indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract was awarded to Hitachi Aloka Medical America and contains five base years and five option years, the Defense Departmentsaid Thursday.
DLA Troop Support received 27 bids through an online competitive procurement and will obligate defense working capital funds from fiscal year 2017 through fiscal 2022 for work to be performed in Connecticut.
The contract’s base period is scheduled to run through Feb. 28, 2022.
