Hexagon US Federal has won a potential five-year, $107.1M contract to build hardware and provide engineering support for a U.S. Navy initiative to install cyber defense systems on surface ships.
The indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract will involve the delivery of land-based equipment and spares as well as qualification testing activities for various ship programs under the service branch’s Situational Awareness, Boundary Enforcement and Response effort, the Department of Defense said Thursday.
Naval Sea Systems Command received two offers for the SABER IDIQ via a full-and-open competition on FedBizOpps and will obligate funds upon issuance of individual orders.
Contract work is expected to be complete by September 2024.
