Hexagon US Federal Appoints Elliott Ferguson President, Announces Leadership Changes

Hexagon US Federal has appointed new leaders as part of organizational changes aligned with its efforts to enhance operations, drive strategic growth and enable government customers to achieve mission success.

The Chantilly, Virginia-based company said Tuesday the leadership changes support its continued focus on delivering software-driven capabilities ahead of the planned Octave spinoff from Hexagon AB, expected in the first half of 2026, when Octave will operate as a standalone business.

Who Is Elliott Ferguson?

Elliott Ferguson, who has been with Hexagon for nearly seven years, will lead the new slate of appointees as he transitions from chief operating officer to president. In his new role, the executive will oversee the company’s customer delivery and long-term growth strategy. Ferguson previously served as vice president of both software & data solutions and geospatial solutions. Before that, he was VP of professional services at Boundless and CEO of T-Kartor USA. He also worked as a geospatial engineer at Harris and a geospatial analyst at Wiser Imagery.

Who Are the Other New Appointees at Hexagon US Federal?

Hexagon US Federal also named Phil Chandler as vice president of business operations. He previously served as deputy chief financial officer of U.S. Space & Rocket Center, controller at EOS Defense Systems USA and manager of the project controller practice at Deloitte.

Victoria Privett was promoted from director of human resources & talent acquisition to VP of corporate services, assuming responsibility for HR, contracts and marketing. Before joining Hexagon, Privett served various HR-related functions at United Way, FishEye Software and MartinFed.

Greta Brant will manage contract lifecycles, procurement and the enterprise program management office as director of contracts. She brings extensive experience from senior contract leadership positions at Peraton, Nathan Associates, DMI, MTSI, SAIC, AECOM and Raytheon, among others.

Marc Langlois was named director of sales and will spearhead Hexagon’s go-to-market strategy. He previously worked at Oracle as senior director of cloud sales, government, defense and intelligence. His three-decade career also features stints at Microsoft and CA Technologies. He also served in the U.S. Marine Corps.
