Heidi Wood, an aerospace and defense industry veteran, has been appointed acting president of defense and security group at CAE (NYSE: CAE).
She will replace Todd Probert, who will step down on June 26 from his role to join the U.S. national security community, the company said Tuesday.
Probert assumed leadership of CAE’s defense and security group in January after a 10-year career at Raytheon, which is now part of Raytheon Technologies (NYSE: RTX).
Wood joined CAE in April as executive vice president of business development and growth initiatives. She has held senior leadership roles at Morgan Stanley (NYSE: MS), Spirit AeroSystems and L3 Technologies, which now operates as L3Harris Technologies (NYSE: LHX).
