Harris (NYSE: HRS) has won a potential $217.7M hybrid contract to help the U.S. Army monitor, configure and maintain the Wideband SATCOM Operational Management System network.
Army Contracting Command received three bids for the hybrid contract via an online-based solicitation and the service obligated $7.9M in fiscal 2019 operations and maintenance at the time of award, the Defense Departmentsaid Tuesday.
Work will occur at various military bases in Florida, Maryland, Colorado, Hawaii, Japan and Germany through July 2027.
According to a FedBizOpps summary, the contract covers WSOMS on-site maintenance, repair, operations, depot and supply, personnel training, logistics, communications analysis, computer system administration, information assurance and technical support services.
