Harris (NYSE: HRS) andMotorola Solutions (NYSE: MSI) have each received a potential five-year, $461.2 million contract to help the U.S. Army update its land mobile radio system infrastructure.
Both companies will also provide modern technology to replace Army mobile radios, the Defense Departmentsaid Thursday.
The Army Contracting Command will determine the funds and performance locations upon the issuance of each order.
Contractors are scheduled to finish contract work by July 6, 2022.
