The Defense Logistics Agency has awarded Harris (NYSE: HRS) a seven-year, $255.4M contract to deliver B-52 and C-130 aircraft parts to U.S. Air Force special operation forces.
The company will perform work under the fixed-price requirements contract in New Jersey and is scheduled to complete deliveries by May 24, 2026, the Defense Departmentsaid Friday.
DLA’s aviation unit will use defense working capital funds for fiscal 2018 through fiscal 2023 to procure the required aircraft components.
Harris will also supply the Air Force with handheld video data link radios under a $130M indefinitely-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract awarded in April.
